Our ceramics are handmade in small batches using a high-fire clay to produce strong,
durable pieces. To ensure the longevity of your piece, we highly recommend the following:

• Handle your ceramics with care, preferably with two hands for larger pieces and
supporting large plates under the centre and not at the rim.

• Hand-wash your piece with a non-abrasive cloth or sponge in warm soapy water
to preserve its appearance.

• Avoid putting your piece in a dishwasher as the temperature and pressure
of the water can cause permanent damage to the glaze finish.

• Limit microwave use and exposure to rapid temperature changes as this
may weaken the integrity of your piece.

• Avoid placing your piece in extreme hot or cold environments such as an oven or freezer
as this may result in cracking or breakage.

Please also note that sometimes our ceramics are made using highly textured clay.
While we try to ensure all non-glazed surfaces are sanded smooth, please be careful when handling these pieces.
